Minor ailment information
at your fingertips…

Caidr® is a digital healthcare app providing information on common medical ailments at your fingertips.

The app enables you to seek information from a reputable online resource developed by leading healthcare professionals in the UK.

How Caidr® Works
Caidr® provides information about medical ailments in the form of a user-friendly smartphone app, by asking you to respond to a series of questions, then producing information and suggestions based on the answers selected.

Caidr’s backbone is its cutting-edge, patent-pending software algorithms. These enable the app to provide information on minor ailments, alongside suggestions around self-care and advice on referral to a pharmacist, optician or doctor when necessary.

Caidr’s Key Benefits
• Information about common ailments at your fingertips
• Easier access to healthcare advice and information
• Smart access to information
• Greater convenience

See a Pharmacist or Doctor, Caidr Knows:
A recent survey of 2,000 people showed that nearly half of those questioned wanted more information about self-treatable conditions.

Caidr® provides this information in a user-friendly format. At the end of each consultation, you are given:
·  an assessment
·  guidance on what to do next
·  an overview of the help and treatment available from the pharmacy, including the medications you can purchase over the counter
· clear advice on when to consult your doctor

Caidr® gives you the option of receiving this assessment result in an email. Often, a lack of information drives people to seek advice from doctors unnecessarily, so having access to this information should reduce the estimated 57 million GP appointments and 3.7 million A&E visits made each year for self-treatable conditions.
